The building of the Baltic Station resembles the East Station in Paris, on the model of which it was built in the mid-19th century. The Baltic Station connects the Northern capital with such popular suburbs of St. Petersburg as Peterhof, Oranienbaum and Gatchina. Every year, millions of tourists leave to see the famous suburbs. From intercity directions, the station is served by the Lastochka train departing for Pskov. |
